To many members of the cast, LaForge, who died late last week in his sleep, was a friend that said goodbye too soon.

“He meant a lot to a lot of the cast; he was friends to a lot of them,” said the play’s director, Sarah Perfetti. “So we’ve been going through everything and its been great and I think they’re just pushing through cause he would want them to.”

This is the first time in 41 years that the theater has performed this specific play.

“We’re celebrating that by inviting some of the members from the last cast to come to the show and sing with us on stage for the last number of the show.”

Final dress rehearsals take place tonight and tomorrow. There will be showings on the 9th, 10th, and 11th at 7:30 p.m., the 16th, 17th and 18th at 7:30, and June 12th and 19th at 2:00 pm. Tickets are available at the Vista Thrift Shop.
