Pair off to jail for maintaining a drug house

GOGEBIC COUNTY — A pair of Watersmeet Township residents will spend the next few months behind bars for their role in maintaining a drug house.

Fifty–six year old Steven Comes and 52–year–old Shirley Kashich were sentenced this morning in Gogebic County Circuit Court.

Comes will spend the next six months in jail and Kashich will be there for the next for months on one count of maintaining a drug house.

Both defendants were arrested in December by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team at a residence on Blair Street in Watersmeet Township.
