Man charged with aggravated assault heading to trial
MARQUETTE — A Marquette man accused of aggravated assault is headed to trial.
Twenty–one year old David Hunter appeared in Marquette County District Court today for a pretrial conference. Hunter was arrested by the Marquette City Police Department last month on one count of aggravated assault.
According to police, Hunter, and another man, 21–year–old Leon Hall, assaulted a subject at Coco’s Restaurant in Marquette back in January.
Hunter’s trial date has not yet been scheduled.
