Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 12/29-30

What a difference a day can make! Yesterday, the some areas across the U.P. had little to any snow. However, Tuesday it looks like a winter wonderland.

Tonight, scattered light snow showers will eventually end, as slightly cooler air enters. Lows will drop between the low to mid-20s, while north winds blow at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Wednesday, another wave of snow moves in bringing light accumulations to the area.

Highs will top off in the upper-20s and lower-30s, while north winds continue at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Tomorrow night, we’ll keep spotty snow showers around, but no accumulations are expected. Low temps will bottom out in the upper teens and lower-20s, with winds shifting out of the northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Only a slight chance of flurries is possible on Thursday, with a isolated peek of sunshine also possible.
