Winter weather is on the way
Thursday brought us a soaker, as rain and clouds covered the region.
Winter Weather:
Our main concern today will be the developing snow. Lows will fall between the low to mid-30s, while northwest winds blow at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Friday looks to feature heavy snow, as accumulations can be as high as 6 inches in our western zones, to as low as a coating in our eastern zones. Highs will top off in the mid and upper-30s, with blustery northwest winds at 15 to 25 miles per hour.
Tonight, the precip should end off as a few flurries, while clouds begin to break apart. Low temps will bottom out in the mid and upper 20s, while winds continue out of the northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour.
Saturday, partial sunshine will return, but the cooler air mass willstay in place.
