Motorcycle accident puts one man in the hospital
IRON MOUNTAIN — One man was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle accident in Dickinson County Thursday morning.
The Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post were called to the scene just after 7:00. The crash occured on Highway M-95 near Old Carney Lake Road in Breitung Township. Gwinn resident Eric Ruesing, 43, was headed north on 95 when he lost control and left the pavement. He was ejected from the cycle and sustained an injury.
Ruesing was transported to Dickinson County Hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Alcohol was not considered a factor.
Troopers were assisted by Rapid Response Ambulance.
