Two men facing drug charges arraigned

IRON MOUNTAIN — Two Iron Mountain men arrested last week during an investigation by a pair U.P. drug enforcement teams have been arraigned.

Allen Lucas, 32, is charged with two counts of delivery or manufacture of less than 50 grams of a narcotic or cocaine. He is being charged as a habitual offender with fourth offense status. Lucas’s bond was set at $30,000 cash or surety.

Brian Dale, 32, is charged with four of the same counts as Lucas in two separate cases, on which he also has fourth offense habitual offender status. His bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety for each case.

Both suspects are set to appear for preliminary exams on August 13th. The two were arrested Thursday by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement team and KIND drug enforcement team after an investigation into the sale of heroin and crack cocaine in Dickinson County.
