WCHA releases hockey schedule

Edina, MN — Feels like yesterday that the college hockey season just wrapped up but the next order of business would be the schedule for next year and thankfully, that info was released earlier today.

Let’s start with Michigan Tech and the Huskies and they are looking to have a repeat performance of this past season, which saw them host their first WCHA playoff series in over 20 years. Key games on the schedule include opening the season at the 2014 WCHA Champion Ferris State, facing Michigan State in East Lansing and home against Minnesota State in January.

For the Wildcats, their playoff rematch with Bowling Green will take place in late November. Northern will also have nonconference action at Wisconsin and at home against Minnesota Duluth.

Let’s take a look at when the Huskies will be facing off against the Wildcats. Their first home and home series will be early on. October 23rd will be played at Northern and the next night will be at MTU. Then to close out the season, March 4th will be at Tech and the Wildcats will host the next evening’s game.
