Lady Huskies set to face Minot St.
HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Huskies have played seven games, and, they have seven wins. Three of those victories have come on the road.
Michigan Tech is making the seven hundred mile journey to Minot, ND for their final non–conference game of the regular season against the Beavers. Minot St. starts a rather tall lineup according to MTU women’s basketball coach Kim Cameron.
The Huskies will have the same game plan they had in mind against Findlay and Wayne State to beat the Beavers, by playing solid defense.
“We have one more goal to reach before Christmas break,” said Huskies head coach Kim Cameron. “I’m excited for the road trip- it’s just us girls. We hop on the bus, our finals are over, take a breath, and realize that we have one more goal to reach. Then your Christmas can be as happy as you want it to be. That’s what we’re looking forward to.”
Michigan Tech is once again back in the national spotlight, at No. 20 in this week’s Women’s Basketball Coaches Association poll. Tip–off between the Huskies and Beavers is set for Saturday at 5 p.m.
