Active meth lab discovered in Marquette
MARQUETTE — The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) discovered an active meth lab Saturday in the city of Marquette. UPSET was notified about a possible meth lab by the Marquette City Police Department. UPSET detectives were brought in to assist in the search.
A search warrant was executed at 777 Pioneer Drive, Lot #190. Upon entering the residence, officers found an active meth lab, along with the components used to manufacture meth. Police also found approximately three grams of finished meth product. The active meth lab, the materials, and the finished product were all removed from the scene by UPSET.
No arrests have been made at this time. The Marquette City Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
