Unknown injuries in US-41 two-vehicle crash

ISHPEMING TOWNSHIP — One person was taken away in an ambulance following a two-car crash in Ishpeming Township Monday morning.

Michigan State Police responded to the accident around 7:40 a.m. on US-41 near the Triangle Motel. The two vehicles involved sustained heavy front-end damage.

The driver of one vehicle appeared unharmed while the driver of the second vehicle was observed being placed on a stretcher and taken away by Bell Hospital EMS with unknown injuries.

Ishpeming Township Fire also assisted on scene, directing eastbound traffic around the site of the accident.
