Dickinson County man sentenced on meth, gun charges
MARQUETTE — A Dickinson County man will spend nearly two decades in federal prison on gun and drug charges involving the manufacture of meth.
Peter Colburn was sentenced to 17 1/2 in prison without parole in U.S. District Court in Marquette Thursday. In a plea agreement, Colburn pleaded guilty to possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture meth and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The gun charge follows the seizure of at least 15 guns including assault weapons, rifles, shotguns, and handguns.
