U.P. Weather Forecast 10/6-7

It was nice to see sunshine on Monday, as temps found their way back to the mid and upper-50s. Winds were also higher today, but expect them to drop off as we head into the night with light showers still present. Lows will bottom out in the low to mid-40s, while southwest winds blow between 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Tuesday, temps remain mild, as waves of rain pass through during the afternoon. Highs will top off in the low to mid-50s, while southwest winds stay breezy around 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tomorrow night, colder air arrives, which could lead to a few snowflakes mixing with the light rain.

Low temps will drop to the mid and upper-30s, as winds turn to come out of the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. We’ll keep the cool air around on Wednesday, accompanied by more rain/snow showers during the afternoon.
