Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 9/11-12
Today was a harsh reminder that autumn is not too far away, as cool temps and breezy winds dominated the afternoon. However winds will decrease tonight, along with the cloud coverage. This will help set the stage for a very cold evening, with lows falling between the low to mid-30s. Northwest winds lighten.
Friday features more sunshine, but temps are expected to remain cool. Highs will reach the low and mid-50s, while winds turn out of the northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tomorrow night clouds thicken as a weak disturbance enters, bringing with it light showers.
Lows will be chilly again, as we’ll find temps in the upper-30s and lower-40s, but winds should be calm. Rain lingers into early Saturday morning, but it won’t last long. Clear skies are anticipated to arrive later that afternoon.
