Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 8/27-28

Skies were mostly cloudy this morning, before more sun showed up to end off Wednesday. Clearing skies will continue on into the overnight, which will allow temps to drop quickly.

Expect lows to be in the low to mid-40s, while winds lighten throughout the night. Thursday features more sunshine across the U.P., but temps remain below average. Highs look to reach the upper-60s and lower-70s, as winds shift out of the south between 5 to 15 miles per hour. Tomorrow night we’ll cool off quickly again before clouds work their way in.

Low temps will bottom out in the upper 40s and lower 50s, while winds calm. Rain returns to the region on Friday, as our next disturbance enters during the morning.
