Trials scheduled in federal court for Gogebic County meth suspects
Two co-defendants in a Gogebic County meth lab case are going to trial.
Joshua Anderson, 31, and Richard Hill, 37, both of Ironwood will each appear in U.S. District Court in Marquette for a pretrial August 25. Their trials are set to begin October 20. Court officials do not know at this time if their trials will be combined.
The two men are facing a total of seven charges, including conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and possession of meth with intent to deliver.
They were arrested in separate incidents by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team earlier this year. Anderson was arrested with Alyssa Pollard, 23, who will be sentenced in Gogebic County Circuit Court September 23.
Hill was arrested in March with Rebecca Suzik, 27, after $75,000 worth of meth was found in a home on Kennedy Street in Ironwood. Suzik will be sentenced in U.S. District Court for her role in the incident August 20.
