Co-defendant in Ishpeming meth case pleads guilty
One of the three suspects who allegedly made meth inside a home in Ishpeming pled guilty in Marquette County Circuit Court Friday.
Taylor Trezona, 18, of Big Bay pled guilty to possession of meth during her arraignment. She will be sentenced September 5.
Trezona and two co-defendants, Robert Kangas Jr., 46, of Marquette and Candice Bonner, 32, of Ishpeming are accused of making and using meth in a residence at 429 East High Street. Police say Kangas was taking care of his 18-month-old child at the home while under the influence of meth.
Kangas will arraigned in Circuit Court August 1. Bonner, the child’s mother, pleaded not guilty by mail and will appear in court Monday.
It is the second time this year the home has seen drug activity. Police arrested Brandon Holm, 27, in February after a possible meth lab was found in the residence. He is currently serving five to twenty years in prison for operating and maintaining a meth lab.
