Weekend Weather – 5/23/14

High pressure had a firm hold on the region today as temperatures climbed into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Conditions don’t change much tonight with clear skies and calm winds allowing lows to drop to the lower 40s.

On Saturday, temps jump a little more with highs reaching the middle and upper 70s under a mostly sunny sky. Winds won’t play a huge role in the forecast, as they’ll blow gently at 5 to 10 miles per hour from the southwest. Tomorrow night, a few more clouds roll in while winds calm again. Overnight lows look to be milder as well, with expected values in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Other than that, it looks to be quiet on into Sunday with a mix of clouds and sun along with 80s awaiting us. Try to get out and enjoy the weather over the next few days as we remember all of those who have fallen in service to our country. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!
