Iron River man facing more than a dozen charges appears in court
An Iron River man facing multiple felony charges has until Monday to enter a plea.
Jordan Luckey, 22, appeared in Iron County Trial Court Thursday for a Cobb’s Hearing. He is charged with 15 counts, including four felonies, from various arrests.
During a Cobb’s hearing, the judge decides whether or not the sentencing terms of a plea agreement are acceptable.
Luckey originally pled not guilty to his charges in January.
He was arrested in June 2013 after running away from a sheriff’s deputy while being taken from the Iron County Jail NorthSTAR Health System for Treatment. Police say he ran to Ice Lake and tried to swim away, then returned to shore and continued running. Luckey is also suspected to be involved in a June 2013 home invasion in Iron River.
