Wednesday’s forecast–4/30
Temperatures were warmer Wednesday across Upper Michigan, even though there was heavy fog across portions of the U.P.
The fog is expected to diminish as scattered light rain showers pick up overnight as low temperatures bottom out in the upper 30’s. Winds remain to be light, coming from the southeast wind around five miles per hour.
Thursday more scattered showers will be in the area with temperatures in the 40’s and lower 50’s for highs. Rain totals will be around a tenth of an inch.
Thursday night clouds and light rain hang on to the viewing area while cooler temps find their way back. Lows fall to the middle and upper 30’s with northwest winds around 5-10 miles per hour.
A few rays of sunshine try to peek out on Friday between the showers, but sunnier skies don’t look to arrive until late this weekend.
