Delay of sentence for man accused of embezzlement
An Escanaba man will not serve any prison time on an embezzlement charge to which he pleaded guilty in Marquette County Circuit Court.
Timothy Bray, 28, has received a 12-month delay of sentence and 12 months of probation Friday.
He will also have to pay court fines and costs, which total just over $1,000.
Bray pleaded guilty in February to stealing or retaining a financial transaction device without consent.
The Marquette City Police say Bray was making unauthorized purchases on credit card accounts belonging to his employer.
He was arrested after a traffic stop in Delta County in January.
