Missing Houghton County inmate captured

The Houghton County Sheriff’s Department has re-captured Troy Roberts after he walked away from his work crew today.
They’re not releasing any more information about the matter at this point, but they say they may do so at a later time.

The Houghton County Sheriffs Department is looking for an inmate who walked away from a work site early this afternoon.
Police say that Troy Joseph Roberts walked away from the Houghton County Work Crew at approximately 12:10 p.m. He was working at the City of Houghton Public Works Garage. Roberts is described as a 26-year-old Native American. He is 5’11” tall, weighs 210 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. Roberts was last seen wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
