Chippewa Co. man sentenced to 4 to 20 years in prison

A Sault Ste. Marie man will spend at least four years in prison on multiple drug charges.

Cody McCoy, 20, was sentenced in Chippewa County Circuit Court to four to 20 years in prison on three felonies:  two counts of operating/maintaining a meth lab and one count of possession of meth.  McCoy was credited with 224 days served.

The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested McCoy and Shelby Gauthier, 21, last March.

Gauthier was sentenced in November and is serving three to 20 years in prison.
