Meth lab suspects appear in court
Three Munising residents appeared in Alger County Circuit Court Wednesday on meth lab charges.
Trent Howard, 21, pleaded not guilty to operating or maintaining a meth lab and conspiracy to operate or maintain a meth lab. Trevor Maxon, 17, is facing those same charges.
Maxon and Jordan Maddox, 20, waived their arraignments. There is no word from court staff on what charges Maddox is facing.
All three have pre-trial conferences scheduled for February 19.
A fourth defendant in the case, Cortne Cornish, 19, of Munising, has not been bound over to circuit court yet.
They were arrested earlier in January after Michigan State Police from the Munising Detachment conducted a traffic stop. Police accuse the four of having an active one-pot meth lab in their vehicle.
