Wildcat men fall to Grand Valley
The Northern Michigan University men’s basketball team fell at home 64-41 to Grand Valley State University on Thursday night. The loss drops the Wildcats to 3-10 this season with a 2-7 record in GLIAC play.
NMU junior guard Chavis Mattison led the Wildcats in scoring with 13 points. The Lakers outrebounded NMU 38-29 in the game.
The Wildcats will play at home again on Saturday, Jan. 18, against Ferris State University. Tip-off from the Berry Events Center between the Wildcats and Bulldogs is set for 1 p.m.
