Mobile meth lab suspects arraigned
The four Munising residents arrested Tuesday on meth–related charges were arraigned in 93rd District Court Thursday.
Cortne Cornish, 19, Jordan Maddox, 20, Trent Howard, 21, and Trevor Maxon, 17, are charged with manufacture of methamphetamine. That charge is a felony punishable by 20 years in jail and/or a $25,000 fine.
Troopers from the Munising Detachment of the Michigan State Police stopped a 2003 Ford Taurus for a traffic violation on Prospect Street and found a mobile meth lab.
The suspects are still lodged in the Alger County Jail; no next court date has been set yet.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
