42 Marijuana plants seized in Marinette County
Several thousand dollars worth of growing equipment and approximately 42 marijuana plants have been seized by the Northeast Tri County Drug Enforcement Group in Marinette County.
Authorities in the area executed a search warrant in the Village of Pound Thursday. As a result, a 29-year-old male was arrested and lodged in the Marinette County Jail. He is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug house.
His name is being withheld at this time until formal charges are filed by the Marinette County District Attorney.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, the Marinette City Police Department, the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department, the Village of Coleman Police Department, and the Village of Crivitz Police Department aided in the investigation.
