New judge in animal cruelty case

A man with a history of poor animal husbandry has a new judge for his case.

John Koski, 68, was scheduled for a hearing in Ontonagon County District Court Tuesday, and during the hearing Koski was assigned a new judge.

Koski is facing a misdemeanor charge of abandoning cruelty to two or three animals involving donkeys on his farm.

A preliminary date has not been scheduled yet.
