‘Hockey Moms’ spaghetti fundraiser

The Marquette American Legion Hockey team and the “Hockey Moms” will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 3, at the American Legion Post 44 located at 700 W. Bluff St., in Marquette from 5 to 8 p.m.

The cost is $5 per person. Proceeds will be donated to the family of a teammate who is dealing with the devastating effects of cancer.  This dedicated mother of three is battling courageously and the family is facing many challenges, including large medical expenses.

Tickets may be purchased at Perani’s on 3rd St, Superior Hockey on Washington St., 100.3 The Point & 94.9 The Bay.  Donations may be made at U.P. Catholic Credit Union to the “Amy’s Benefit” fund account.
