Teens plead guilty to failing to report dead body
Two teenagers pleaded guilty today to a charge in connection with the recent death of a Marquette man.
Seventeen-year-old Christopher Garrow and 19-year-old Jordan Beaudry pleaded guilty in Marquette County District Court to failing to report a dead body. The Marquette Police arrested the pair after an investigation into the October 1st death of 22-year-old Kyle Dowling.
Police say they learned that Beaudry and Garrow had been with Dowling the night before he was found dead on his front porch. The two were accused of failing to summon medical help while Dowling was having a medical emergency and of not reporting his death.
One felony charge for each of them of concealing the death of an individual was dismissed.
Dowling’s toxicology reports are still pending, and the investigation into his death is ongoing.
