NMU singing groups hold unique performance
Three singing groups based on the Northern Michigan University Campus recently held a unique type of choral performance.
The NMU Choir, The Madrigal Singers, and The Lake Effect Show Choir joined forces for a performance at Reynolds Recital Hall.
The selections were wide–ranging and included Luther Vandross, The Beatles, and more.
The director of the NMU Choir and The Madrigal Singers said that in 38 years of teaching music, this was the first concert he had ever done consisting entirely of secular music.
