MTU hockey adds a defenseman
The Michigan Tech University hockey team has added defenseman Cliff Watson to their roster for the upcoming 2013-14 season. The Appleton, Wis. native played the last two seasons in the United States Hockey League for the Sioux City Musketeers.
Watson scored three goals and added eight assists last season for Sioux City. The 6’2″, 200 lb. defenseman had a plus-minus rating of +10 in 2012-13 for the Musketeers.
The Huskies now have 29 players on their roster- 17 forwards, 9 defensemen, and 3 goalies. Tech begins the season at home on Oct. 5 vs. Laurentian.
