Max. 20 yrs. in prison for meth lab defendant
Two co-defendants involved in a meth lab case were sentenced in Gogebic County Circuit Court Wednesday morning.
George Davis, 59, pled guilty to operating/maintaining a meth lab. He was sentenced to a minimum of six and a half years to a maximum of 20 years in prison. Davis was credited for 134 days served and court fines total almost $400.
His co-defendant, Kristin Carter, 31, pled guilty to possession of meth. She was sentenced to one year probation. Her court fines and costs total almost $400.
Davis and Carter, along with 40–year-old Wendy Hemmings, were arrested by the Gogebic Area Narcotics Team in March after a meth lab was found on Florence Street in Ironwood.
