Man arrested for exposing himself to two women
A 28-year-old man was arrested after exposing himself to two women in Marquette.
Chase Walker Rowe, who recently moved to Marquette from Texas, is charged with Indecent Exposure by a Sexually Delinquent Person.
The Marquette Police Department says the incident happened on the bike path near the Medical Center Monday afternoon around 3:15.
Police say a woman was walking down the bike path between Fair Avenue and Wright Street when she saw a man walking out of the woods. She saw the suspect exposing himself. The woman quickly left the area, and told police there was another woman in the area, but was unsure what the other woman saw.
Police began to search for the suspect, and found Rowe hiding in a garage off West Avenue. The two women were brought to the scene and was identified as the man who exposed himself.
Further investigation confirmed Rowe has been responsible for other indecent exposure incidents reported this summer in the same area.
Rowe was lodged in the Marquette County Jail, and is currently out on bond. He will be arraigned on Monday, August 5.
The Marquette City Police were assisted by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and Northern Michigan University Public Safety.
