Two Ishpeming men accused of tourture in court
A pair of Ishpeming men who are accused to torturing two women were in Marquette County District Court Wednesday.
Jason Sadowski, 43, and Charles Cope, 65, are charged with a total of 12 counts, including Homicide–Solicitation of Murder, Torture, First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and Unlawful Imprisonment.
They have been bound over to Marquette County Circuit Court on all charges.
The Ishpeming Police say the pair held two women captive in the basement in The Martial Way on Cleveland Avenue in downtown Ishpeming for more than four hours on July 2.
The women were allegedly physically assaulted and bound to support posts in the basement.
Sadowski and Cope have their next court date set for July 26.
