Man sentenced in Esky armed robbery case
A man will spend a minimum of five years in prison in connection with an armed robbery in Escanaba.
Marc Grove was sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court today to a minimum of five years and four months in prison to a maximum of 15 years.
He was given credit for 176 days in jail.
His court costs total $823.
Grove pleaded guilty to assault with intent to rob while armed.
Grove and his alleged accomplice, Courtney Gartland, were involved in an armed robbery at the Escanaba Admiral gas station in January.
Gartland pleaded guilty to lying to a police officer and maintaining a drug house.
She will be sentenced August 13.
