Mqt. fundraiser for local soldiers
A Marquette business is raising money for area soldiers and the units in which they serve.
Superior Express Care & Wash on Washington Street is holding a car wash and barbecue on Saturday.
A $10 donation will get you food and drink, a car wash and an entry into prize raffles.
All of the proceeds will be donated to the U.S. Army Reserve 652nd Engineer Company in Harvey and the Michigan National Guard 107th Engineer Battalion in Ishpeming.
The funds will pay for family-related support activities for the soldiers and their loved ones.
Superior Express Care & Wash will also donate $10 to the cause for every person who buys an oil change from them that day.
