Spaghetti dinner to benefit family in need
Friends are putting on a benefit to help the family of a Marquette County man who passed away this spring.
Negaunee resident Jeff Nylander suddenly passed away in April, leaving behind many family members.
On Saturday, a spaghetti dinner will be held at the Eagles Club in Negaunee to help his family.
“We’re holding it because there were a lot of medical expenses with Jeff’s untimely passing, so we’re trying to help defray the costs of that a little bit for the family,” Molly Taseris said, who is organizing Saturday’s dinner.
Saturday’s benefit is just one of many that have been held at the Eagle’s Club. Saturday’s fundraiser starts at 2 p.m.
“We’re going to have raffles, we have 50/50’s, live music, a lot of silent auction things to give away,” Taseris said. “It’s just going to be a really good time.”
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children ten and younger.
