Media Day for U.P. All-Stars
After two intense days of practice, Tuesday was a chance for the U.P. Football All-Star players to impress someone other than their coaches- they had to deal with the media.
Between individual and team photos, it was a busy evening inside the Superior Dome.
While waiting to take their pictures, a few players found a little time to throw the pigskin around.
The players even had a bit of fun, interviewing one another for a video that they will get to take home with them after the week is over.
However, leaving Marquette is the farthest thing on their minds- they are ready for game time come Saturday afternoon.
“Everything is going good with the guys on defense. We all have pretty good chemistry and we are all flowing to the ball well,” said West Team linebacker Cody Goldsworthy from L’Anse.
“It has been a lot of fun getting to know getting to know new guys and playing with different guys from different schools and learning their playing style, so its a lot of fun,” said Eric Kostreva, a running back on the East Team from Ishpeming.

The players will participate in a skills challenge on Wednesday.
