Man held at gunpoint receives probation
A Marquette man who was held at gunpoint after drunkenly entering the wrong home last March was sentenced to 12-months probation earlier today.
Forty-year-old David Locke pled no contest to breaking and entering charges March 28th. Those charges were then reduced to a misdemeanor for being drunk and disorderly. In addition to a year’s worth of probation, Locke received fines and costs totaling $880.
Locke was found in the basement of a home on the 600 block of Craig Street shortly after 5 a.m. on March 15th. He was then held at gun point by the homeowner until police arrived.
