Man charged in connection with terror threats
A 28-year-old Rapid River man has been arraigned in connection with terror threats and the attempted manufacturing of explosive devices.
James Bugg was arrested Friday evening at his home in Masonville Township after a joint investigation between the Gladstone Post of the Michigan State Police, the FBI and the ATF.
He made threats on the Internet to built an explosive device and attempt to harm people at a public venue.
Bugg was arraigned in 94th District Court in Delta County Monday.
He is charged with one count of Attempted Weapons, Dangerous Weapon–Miscellaneous. Bugg is currently held in the Delta County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
The incident is still under investigation.
