MTU’s White promoted to NHL
Former Michigan Tech player and assistant coach Scott White has earned a promotion with the Dallas Stars. White has been promoted to Director of Hockey Operations for the Stars.
The decision to promote White was made by Jim Nill, the Stars new General Manager. Nill was hired by Dallas after spending 19 years as a member of the Detroit Red Wings front office.
White played hockey at Michigan Tech from 1985-1989. He spent five years as an assistant coach for the Huskies from 1994-1999, before becoming a head coach in the minor leagues.
