Marquette woman charged with MN homicide
A Marquette woman is in jail in Duluth, Minnesota – charged with the stabbing death of a woman Sunday.
The Duluth Police Department says Nichole Leone Revello, 29, of Marquette has been charged with Homicide in the incident that took place just before noon Sunday.
DPD Public Information Officer Jim Hansen says police responded to a residence in the 100 block of East 5th Street for a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found that 46-year-old Duluth resident Lisa Kay Davis had been stabbed. Davis was transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital where she died.
Police say Revello and Davis knew one another. Revello was located in a back bedroom and taken into custody.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Saint Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office who will rule on the official cause and manner of death.
