Dickinson Co. meth lab suspect pleads guilty

An Iron Mountain woman is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty today in a mobile meth lab case.

Thirty-year-old Nicole Strutz has pleaded guilty in Dickinson County Circuit Court to operating or maintaining a meth lab.

She’ll also have habitual offender, second offense status attached, which will result in a longer sentence than usual.

Strutz will receive her sentence on July 22nd.

Two co-defendants are also waiting to be sentenced.

Twenty-two-year-old Samantha Matson of Vulcan pleaded guilty to operating or maintaining a meth lab.

She will be sentenced on June 17th.

Twenty-six-year-old Jennifer LaCosse of Norway pleaded guilty to one count of delivery or manufacture of meth, and she’s being charged as a habitual offender, fourth offense.

LaCosse will also be sentenced on June 17th.

The meth lab was discovered in March at 501 Sterling Street in Kingsford.
