Iron River man arrested on felony charges

Kyle Remer, a 23-year-old Iron River man was arrested today on a two count felony warrant.

Remer is charged with a 10-year felony for breaking and entering, and a 4-year felony for larceny in a building.

The arrest warrant was issued as a result of an investigation by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office into a breaking and entering at the Northland Marathon Station in Caspian on March 25th.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours when a burglar alarm sounded after the door to the main entrance had been broken in. Deputies on the scene learned that cigarettes and alcohol had been stolen from the store.

Remer was arraigned on those charges earlier today in the 95th District Court where his cash bond was set at $2,500.

He is due back in court for a preliminary examination on June 10th.
