UPDATE: Two car accident injures three people
Three people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries following a two car accident Sunday afternoon in Chocolay Township.
The Chocolay Township Police Department responded to the accident around 3:45 p.m. on U.S. 41 at the Michigan Welcome Center in Harvey.
The crash was caused by a car pulling out in front of another vehicle while leaving the Welcome Center.
The driver of the car that caused the accident was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
The Chocolay Township Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Marquette City Police Department, the Chocolay Township Fire Department, the Marquette General EMS, and Mediride.
