Anderson signs with CFL team
Former Northern Michigan University defensive end Zach Anderson announced today that he has signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
Anderson announced his signing with the Blue Bombers on his Twitter account. “Officially a Winnipeg Blubomber of the CFL! Its been a long road but its finally here! #CFL #ReadytoWork,” Anderson tweeted.
In his four year career at NMU, Anderson accumulated 213 total tackles (101 solo), and 10.5 sacks.
The Sault Ste. Marie native was a first team all GLIAC selection this past season for the Wildcats. Anderson’s former teammate, offensive lineman Jace Daniels, signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League.
