DNR hosts online fishing forum Tuesday
Are you an angler or are interested in how Michigan’s fisheries are managed? Then consider joining the DNR tomorrow night (April 30) at 6:30 p.m. for “DNR Live: Fish” – a one-hour online forum designed to answer your questions about the state’s fisheries, fishing seasons and regulations.
The video event will stream live on the DNR’s website at www.michigan.gov/dnr or on the DNR’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/midnr.
You are invited to post questions in advance on our Facebook page, send via Twitter to @MichiganDNR (using the hashtag #DNRlive), or email to dnr-facebook@michigan.gov. Pre-submitted questions must be received by 4:00 p.m. today. All other questions will be taken live during the event itself.
A panel of experts will participate in the online forum to answer your questions about fisheries management and angling, including current and new regulations, fishing opportunities and why the DNR does what it does.
If you’d like more information about how to participate in the “DNR Live: Fish” online forum tomorrow night, email dnr-facebook@michigan.gov or contact Elyse Walter in the DNR’s Fisheries Division at waltere@michigan.gov.
