Water main break in Ishpeming

A water main break in the city of Ishpeming is currently being repaired at the intersection of South Pine Street and Division Street. The city is asking motorists to avoid that intersection if at all possible.

The impacted water service area is:

• Division Street from First Street to Lakeshore Drive.
• First Street from Division Street to Cleveland Avenue.
• Main Street from Division Street to Cleveland Avenue.
• Pine Street from Division Street to Front Street.

Customers in the impacted area will experience low water pressure until the repair has been completed. Crews hope to have service restored by the end of the day.
