Sound exhibit at Regional History Ctr.
The Marquette Regional History Center is having fun tomorrow by looking into the history of sound technology.
The center is hosting a presentation called It’s All About Sound as part of its Saturdays at the Center series.
It’s All About Sound includes activities for all ages involving many different kinds of audio devices.
Center educator Betsy Rutz says they include some phonograph records that are more than a hundred years old, right up through present-day smartphones and MP3 players.
Jim Koski, a friend of the center from Q-107 radio in Marquette, will offer his own insights on radio technology through the years as well.
It’s All About Sound runs from 11 to 2 tomorrow.
The event is included with the price of admission to the museum on West Spring Street in Marquette.
